Owner, Dene John said: “I identified a niche in the marketplace for improving the performance of motorcycles. I set up Two Wheel Engineering Services earlier this year with a colleague, Jason Leyshon, and together we have developed a system for electronic motorcycle testing that no one else has at the moment, but race teams are extremely interested in.
“We approached the Economic Development Unit in order to apply for funding towards the purchase of an engine dynamometer – a rolling road for motorcycle testing which aids the development of reducing gear change times and gives race teams a much sought after competitive edge. The dynamometer allows us to test and develop the system and tailor it to specific models.
“The team at the Economic Development Unit were very supportive and assisted us with the application process at every step of the way. The funding has enabled us to develop our business idea and turn it into an exciting business venture.”
